Motto: Sustainable Growth through Integrity

The City of Log Cabin began as a Property Owner's Association, Log Cabin Estates, and incorporated into a city in 1987. Since then the City has worked to grow and support its citizens. The City is a Type A, General Law municipality with a population of less than 1,000 residents. Hidden away, the City boasts one of the deepest boat ramps on the Cedar Creek Reservoir and public park with a swimming area, as well as a recently updated pier/dock that includes a floating dock. We are happy to host fishing tournaments throughout the year.

City Improvements

Roads

There are many aspects that go into the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of the city's roads, which means that roads are a large consideration in the day-to-day planning and operations of the city. The city also looks at things that indirectly impact roads, such as storm water drainage.

Master Water/Sewer Plan

To aid with planning and funding for future improvements and expansion of the city's water/sewer system, the city has contracted with an engineer to create a Master Water/Sewer Plan.

City Park

The Parks Committee and City are working to find grants and raise funds to upgrade the city park playground to be more accessible.
